Blacks and whites carnival

This carnival is celebrated in pasto, in Nariño.the carnaval begun in january 2 and finish in january 6.

The origins of this festival was when the spanish colonized this places,the celebrations of the spains has a part of african traditions.

In 1607 the slaves begun a rebellion that vause panic in the authorities.this event was recordated by the black people of popayan, and they wanted celberate this and create the carnival.
in the festival the mayority of the people put´s one´s face on, is funny  and this is the tradition.
